How to find us:-
From The North
Leave the M6 at junction 40, take the second exit (A66) East, travel for 1 mile along the dual
carriageway. Take fourth exit (A6) South at next roundabout. Travel for half a mile and take right turn at the
mini roundabout ('Bee Hive' and
'Crown' Pubs) signposted to Pooley Bridge. Travel for 1 mile and take left hand fork towards Askham. Stay on this road and drive through Askham and Helton. DO NOT TURN RIGHT into Helton keep going straight ahead
on the main road. Travel for 1 mile, Beckfoot is on your right hand side at the foot of the hill over small bridge.
From The South
Leave M6 at junction 39 and join the A6 Northbound to Shap, go through Shap village.
On coming to the end of the village take a left fork signposted to Bampton and Haweswater.
This is before you get to the bridge.
Go through the villages of Bampton Grange and Bampton.
Beckfoot lies 2 miles further
along this road towards Helton Village.
There are lots of other things to do in the Lake District so make a holiday of it.
